Haryana Chief Minister announces grants and scholarships for industrial workers' daughters

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has introduced a new initiative aimed at supporting the daughters of industrial workers pursuing higher education. During an event at the Shri Vishwakarma Skill University in Palwal district, Khattar announced that these young women would receive Rs 50,000 to purchase electric two-wheelers. 

Grants for electric two-wheelers

The significant announcement by Chief Minister Khattar focuses on providing financial assistance to daughters of industrial workers. These young women will be granted Rs 50,000 to acquire electric two-wheelers. This initiative aims to facilitate their transportation needs and promote self-reliance.

Scholarships for industrial workers' children

In addition to the electric two-wheeler grants, Khattar has also expanded scholarships for the children of industrial workers. Effective immediately, these scholarships will offer identical amounts to eligible students, according to an official statement. The scholarships range from Rs 10,000 to Rs 21,000 and are available for students from Class 9 through various degree and postgraduate programs. This initiative seeks to ease the financial burden on the families of industrial workers and encourage their children's educational pursuits.

Welfare measures for industrial workers

To commemorate Vishwakarma Jayanti and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday, Chief Minister Khattar unveiled a series of welfare measures designed to enhance the lives of industrial workers and their families. These initiatives demonstrate the government's commitment to supporting the workforce and fostering a brighter future for their children
